New Chilla’s Art Game Announced: Shinkansen 0

by James

Just over a month after the release of Jisatsu Chilla’s Art has announced that their newest game, Shinkansen 0, is coming soon.

According to their X post, this will be a game styled after the popular and ever-weird I’m on Observation Duty series. These games are a “spot the difference” experience, where you generally flip through cameras to record anomalies.

On the newly released Steam page, Shinkansen 0 does reference “anomalies” but interestingly, the screenshots imply that you’re not viewing the bullet train through a camera, but rather walking it on foot.

The page also mentions you can interact with NPCs who will “guide the player towards a good or bad ending”.  This is cool! And is a hopeful sign that Chilla’s Art will add some of their usual flair to the genre.

Shinkansesn 0 release date.

We don’t have an exact release date yet for Shinkansen 0. Both Chilla’s Art’s X post and Steam page mention it’s coming soon, but that’s it. If we were to follow Chilla’s Art’s track record of releases, then it is likely coming this month or next.

The Kidnap was released on Steam on October 31st, 2023 and Jisatsu was released on December 15th, 2023. Chilla’s Art is on a tear with their release schedule so it’s safe to Shinkansesn 0 is right around the corner.

We’ll be sure to cover Shinkansen 0 when it launches, so check back in!
